Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri. She governs the God Sun and is the source of energy and direction of Sun. Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped with her favourite red coloured flowers. This year the prayers will be offered from am to am. On day three, people worship goddess Chandraghanta. On day four, people worship goddess Kushmanda.

This year the shubh muhurat for the prayers starts from am to am. On day five, people worship goddess Shandamata, a form of goddess Parvati. People use red flowers to offer worship to her and the shubh muhurat for the worship starts from am to am.

On day six, people worship goddess Katyayani and offer roses to her. It is also the day that celebrates the birth anniversary of goddess Yamuna and is known as Yamuna Jayanti. The shubh muhurat for Maa Katyayani Puja will be am to am.
